I would like to inform you about the development of the new carbon Mast by JWH
JWH is the licensee of the Splash mast and last year developed a new Carbon Variant that has similar specifications and properties as the existing aluminum version. However, with a longer lifespan, making the investment in the Splash cheaper in the long run.

The SCIA granted a dispensation to use the mast at international regattas in 2022 for testing.
After testing for the event and test reports, the class rules change can be requested from World Sailing.
The existing aluminum will remain allowed to the newly developed mast.
