After two very long days of sailing with six qualifying races completed the layday has arrived.
Sailors, family and friends are all being tourists for the day exploring Travenmunde and it surroundings.
We took a walk through the town this lunchtime and met up with many sailors all saying how much they are enjoying the rest day and recharging their batteries for the final races starting tomorrow.
Talking of recharging batteries we met one coach who was complaining about the the flat battery in his car key. The nearest dealer garage is in Lubeck. I said easy easy only 30 minutes away he said "no no my car can do 250kph so only 10 minutes". I hope his sailors go as fast in the finals.
